FAQ
What is fill power?
Fill power measures the loft of down. Higher fill power down has larger clusters, so less down is needed to achieve the same loft as lower fill power down.
Why isn't my Firm down pillow hard?
Natural down is soft by nature. Soft, Medium, and Firm refer to the amount of down inside the pillow—not how hard the pillow feels. A Firm pillow contains more down for greater support and loft while maintaining the luxurious softness of natural down.
Why does my down pillow flatten?
This is completely normal. Down naturally compresses under weight and returns to its loft when fluffed. Daily fluffing helps restore loft and keep your pillow performing its best.
Which firmness should I choose?
Soft: Best for stomach sleepers, Medium: Ideal for back and combination sleepers, Firm: Best for side sleepers or those who prefer extra support.
Do I need a pillow protector?
While not required, we highly recommend using a breathable pillow protector. It helps protect your pillow from moisture, oils, and everyday wear while extending its lifespan and keeping it fresher between washes.
Will my pillow have an odor when it's new?
Natural down may have a slight scent when first removed from its packaging. This is normal and will typically dissipate within a few days. Allow your pillow to fully loft and air out before use.
Will feathers poke through the fabric?
Occasionally, a small feather may work its way through the fabric. This is normal with feather-filled products and does not indicate a defect. Gently pull the feather back through from the opposite side rather than pulling it out.
Are down pillows machine washable?
Yes. Down pillows can be machine washed following the care instructions. The most important step is drying. Down must be completely dry before use or storage to prevent clumping and odors.
How long will my down pillow last?
With proper care, a quality down pillow can last 5–10 years or more.
