I ordered these to stuff with shredded foam to make bed pillows. They are beautifully made. The only thing I don't like about them is that the fabric makes noise when you move the pillow. You know how satin dresses tend to make noise, well, this is that same sound. Not loud, but enough to notice, and enough for me to down grade them from a 5-star to a 4-star rating.

Although it's very soft and smooth to the touch, the material does not give or stretch. Or maybe it's a little too thick. I found it to be a bit stiff compared to other pillowcases. Even when putting another pillowcase or two over it, I could still feel the sturdiness of the material. Just not ideal for building the perfect sleeping pillow.

This is a nicely constructed case. I wish the opening was zippered! The stitching around the case is quite nice and closing the gap by hand is going to look crude. There is also a certainly amount of guesswork to filling as case like this so giving the pillow a night's trial to find there's too much or too little filling means ripping out the closure and starting all over again.

This case is made of thick silky cotton. It feels great and has double stitching around the edges. However I was expecting a zipper so I could adjust the amount of filling. There is no zipper but an unfinished seam for stuffing that you will need to sew closed.

Everything was great, except I would prefer a zipper instead of having to sew up the slot on the case.

4 stars because the first order was never received so I got a refund and tried again. The hard part is figuring out how much down to stuff inside till you have it right. Can be very messy if you're not careful. I got a pretty large box and duct taped the bottom to seal it and then stood three sides of the top straight up and duct taped them to stay up. That left one side for me to fold down so I could reach down to the bag of feathers and the pillow in the box. Working that way controlled the feather flying mess even more than I expected. I did several pillows so I got pretty good at getting the amount of fill I wanted.
