It’s what on the inside that matters

FEATHER

Stomach sleepers slumber peacefully on extra soft pillows designed to allow their heads to sink to the most comfortable level

DOWN

A soft pillow provides more comfort for back and side sleepers who prefer to cushion their heads on something not quite so firm

BLEND

Both back and side sleepers who like more head and neck support snooze better on medium or firm down pillows

Down-sizing: how to choose fill power

In the world of pillows, we talk about fill power—the number of cubic inches that one ounce of down will fill. Larger individual down clusters result in higher fill power, and products with a higher fill power are lighter and more resilient.

When it comes to fill power, bigger is better.

Fill power speaks to quality and longevity , not firmness. Pillows or comforters with higher fill power are more luxurious, retain their shape better and last longer. Firmness is determined by how much of a particular fill power an item is stuffed with: a 700 fill power pillow can be firm (having more down inside its casing) or soft (having less down).

Fine, zippered covers keep your pillows free from dirt, stains and dust mites. Remove and wash the covers as needed. For down comforters, use duvet covers to add style and prevent soiling.

Breathe new fluff into your down pillow by placing it in the dryer on low heat or hanging it out in the fresh air. A good weekly shake will also freshen your comforter nicely.
