Which measurements of fill power can I choose from?
Choose between fill powers of 550, 700, and 800.
What is the difference between fill weight and fill power?
Fill weight measures how many ounces of material has been put inside the pillow’s shell to create a given density (ranging from soft - to extra firm).
Fill power represents the size (height) and quality of the down item and how long it will last.
800 fill power down pillows are NOT firmer than 550 fill power down pillows.

What is fill power?
Fill power is a measurement of the amount of space one (1) ounce of down will occupy in cubic inches when allowed to reach its maximum loft.
Ex: One ounce of 550 fill power goose down will loft to 550 cubic inches; 800 fill power will rise to 800 cubic inches.
Why is greater fill power better?
As fill power increases, the down can trap more air which, in turn, allows for more insulation.
Larger down cluster = higher fill power > higher loft > the longer the down item will last.
A firm pillow has more down inside the pillow shell?
Yes! Not necessarily is the down of high quality, but there is more down stuffed inside a firm pillow than there is in a soft or medium pillow.

Fine, zippered covers keep your pillows free of dirt, stains and dust mites. Remove and wash the covers.
To wash your well-used pillow, do the following:
Machine wash on a quick-wash cycle for 10 minutes.
Air dry for about 10-15 hours.
For air fluff, place in the dryer for 1-2 hours
Air dry some more.
For down comforters, use duvet covers to add style and prevent soiling.
A good weekly shake is all it takes to rejuvenate your comforter. For more intensive cleaning, use your local dry cleaners.
